Taking inspiration from Dante’s Divine Comedy, The Seacroft Canto was co-created by the Seacroft community and poet Kimberly Campanello. This new translation of Dante’s 700-year-old poem reflects Seacroft’s local and interconnected stories and histories and transmits experiences of resilience, connection, and the transformative power of creativity.
Join the Seacroft Canto writers, filmmaker Charlotte Ginsborg, and Chapel FM Director Tony Macaluso for the world premiere screening of this new documentary film followed by a conversation with National Poetry Centre Director Nick Barley. The documentary follows their shared writing process as they journey together alongside Dante through the dark wood and into the light.
