With most editors facing huge piles of submissions, it can often feel like attracting their attention is an insurmountable obstacle. During the course of this workshop we’ll take a look at what the slush pile is actually like, how we can stand out from the crowd, and consider how we can use elements of the strange and the uncanny to break out of clichéd literary tropes and truly shine.
