Assistance dogs and assistance dogs-in-training are welcome at all events. You may be required to produce your laminated Registered Assistance Dog photo ID card.
Blue Badge Parking / Drop off in the city centre
On street designated disabled persons parking (4 hour time limit, no return within 1 hour) is available on:
Portland Gate (to the North side of Millennium Square)
Portland Crescent (to the North side of Millennium Square)
Rossington Street (to the South East side of Millennium Square)
Cookridge Street (to the South side of Millennium Square)
Alexander Street (to the South side of Millennium Square)
Calverley Street (to the West side of Millennium Square)
Woodhouse Lane multi storey car park also provides non-time limited designated disabled persons parking on Levels 1 and 7 which is free for blue badge holders.

Hyde Park Book Club aims to provide an accessible and inclusive facility for all events. It has two entrances. The main entrance is accessible from Headingley Lane. The other entrance is Victoria Road. Both are to different floors and are accessible. Please call beforehand if we can help plan your journey. Unfortunately we do not have an accessible toilet. Support Dogs are welcome and bowls of water supplied.
Adelphi Pub: The Pub Theatre event takes place in a room at the top of the Adelphi pub that is only accessible via a staircase and therefore not suitable for wheelchair users or anyone who may have difficulty using stairs.
Leeds Minster has ramped access to the front door and level access around the church. This historic church has fixed wooden pews which some disabled visitors may struggle to use comfortably, but padded folding chairs are also available. Wheelchair users are accommodated in designated areas for events and to help facilitate this, please contact the Minster in advance with your needs on firstname.lastname@example.org Toilet accommodation is limited, but there is an accessible toilet on site.
New Headingly Club has wheelchair/disabled access and disabled parking. There are male and female disabled toilets; and guide dogs are welcome.
Wharf Chambers is a members club and you must be a member to attend an event here. Joining costs £1 and takes a minimum of 48 hours to take effect. To join see the website.
